SA: Pedestrian death takes SA holiday toll to four

ADELAIDE, Dec 27 AAP - An Adelaide pedestrian was killed as he tried to cross a city
road overnight, taking South Australia's holiday road toll to four.

The 46-year-old man from the Adelaide suburb of Cowandilla was hit by a car as he crossed
the intersection of West Terrace and Grote Street about 9.30pm (CDT).

A police spokesman said the man died from injuries shortly after the accident.

His death takes the state's holiday road toll to four and the yearly toll to 153, compared
to 150 at the same time last year.
