NSW: Man flown to hospital after rugby accident
SYDNEY, April 20 AAP - A man was airlifted to hospital with suspected spinal injuriesafter being hurt during a club rugby match south-west of Sydney.
A spokesman for the CareFlight rescue helicopter said the man, from Narellan, had beenplaying rugby at Elderslie when the accident happened some time before 10pm (AEST).
He suffered suspected spinal injuries in the accident and was placed on the helicopter'sintensive care module before being flown to Liverpool hospital.
He arrived shortly before 10.30pm.
